I ended up giving my shift away for Friday night, mainly because of the Toronto Blue Jays game that I was going to on Saturday, and the Back2Back signing that I knew I had to get up early for, to get in line for Roberto Alomar.
With Friday now off, I decided that I would check out the Rufus Dayglo signing at The Beguiling. That was my original plan, but with my bro informing me that he had borrowed his co-worker's Toronto Star Season Pass for the Jays game, I ended up using that for the Friday evening game, so I could check out one of the Flashback Friday signings.
I didn't have any real gameplan going into the game, as I found out the previous night, and never fully looked into the signings. Here were the signings for Friday evening:
* Sec 117 - Jack Morris/Pat Hentgen
* Sec 127 - Woody Williams/Al Leiter/Todd Stottlemyre
* Sec 207 - Paul Molitor/Rob Butler
* Sec 513 - Joe Carter/Candy Maldonado
* Sec 536 - Devon White/Pat Tabler
I was thinking the Jack Morris/Pat Hentgen signing, but that was the one that my bro was going to, so I figured I'd hit up another one. This was the only signing I wanted to get sigs for myself. As for the other four signings, I only wanted to see one player at each of them. Todd Stottlemyre was one, but not high on my list. Paul Molitor was another one I wanted to see, but I wasn't sure if they'd open up access to the 200 levels for FBF. I already got Devon White for my bro. This left Joe Carter. I know my bro wants his autograph, so I wanted to get that one for him. I even ran up to the 500 levels, but so did everyone else that was hoping to get Carter's autograph.
Ultimately, I wasn't able to get an autograph at the game on Friday; however, I did get a Toronto Blue Jays Back2Back hand towel. I actually got two.
I left the game after the signing ended, and headed up to the Rufus Dayglo signing. Got some books signed, and got the sketch of Zatanna on the right. Seemed like an odd request for Rufus Dayglo, as he had never heard of Zatanna before, but he did a great job at his first sketch of her. It came out pretty much how I pictured it would, so I'm quite happy about it.
Heading home, I knew that Saturday was going to be a very early morning, as I really wanted to get Roberto Alomar's autograph, and didn't want to be disappointed. This was also the game that I tried to sell the tickets for, earlier this week (which didn't sell). So Saturday morning started off with me getting up at 6:45am. We left for the game around 8am. I basically made the decision to not stay for the game, and traded my $47 ticket in the 100 levels to my cousin for his $9 500 level ticket.
Got to the Skydome (will always be the Skydome to me) at approx. 8:30am, and the line for Roberto Alomar (who was also signing with Juan Guzman and Manny Lee) was short, though not as short as the other signings taking place. I ended up sitting with my cousin (who held a spot for me), and chilled for 3 1/2 hrs+. For the signing.
Lots of stuff happening around Gate 5-6, closer to game time, which I ended up with this:

Kikkoman's Rubber DuckGotta love a cool rubber duck, holding a bottle of Soy Sauce, treating it like beer. :)
The signing started 30 minutes late, but once the line got moving, it got moving quick.

Roberto Alomar, Manny Lee, Juan Guzman, MeI ended up getting Manny Lee and Juan Guzman's autographs on my bro's signed ball with former Jays. As for Roberto Alomar's autograph, that was mine.

After the signing, I left to meet with my little siblings at Indigo Yorkdale for the Jeff Smith & Lynda Carter signings (separate signings).
Got to the mall around 1:30pm, and into the line, where my siblings were already in line. The signing started at 2pm, and we got to see Jeff Smith just after 3:30pm. Got some books signed, one of which was my
Shazam!: The Monster Society of Evil hardcover. My little siblings lucked out with a
quick sketch by Jeff Smith (I edited out their names, but that's totally for them in their copy of the Bone: One Volume Edition).
After the Jeff Smith signing, we headed straight for the Lynda Carter signing. My little sister has been watching the Wonder Woman TV series recently, so when this signing came up, I told her about it, and if plans didn't conflict, we'd go see her.
Lynda Carter was there to promote her new CD, which was purchased for my little sister. We brought my older bro's Season One and Two Wonder Woman DVDs, in case she was signing. I was hoping to get a couple of other items signed, but unfortunately, those I couldn't get done. But ultimately, this was more for my little sister (and me) to meet Lynda Carter.

Me with Lynda CarterLittle siblings are cropped out of that picture, cause I don't want to post pictures of them online.

Wonder Woman DVDs signed by Lynda CarterThe CD is personalized to my sister, and I didn't crop out the name yet, so I won't be posting that.
We ended up skipping the Woodbridge Ribfest, due to the weather, and went home to eat. Bro and I caught G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, which I highly enjoyed. I'm not going to get into a full review of it or anything. You're either gonna hate the movie, or enjoy it. It kept me entertained, so I enjoyed it. I'll leave it at that.
Tomorrow, I don't really care too much if I miss it, but the plan is to head down to the Jays game again, and pick up the Tom Henke figurine, since we have tickets to the game. Pretty much after that, we're gonna head home (which is why I don't care about missing this). I have to work in the evening, so I'd prefer sleep. I'll see how it goes.
